Pig Skin – Handmade suede leather watch bands in Earthy colours. One piece of pig skin suede- thickened with inner lining, folded and sealed on the edges to help prevent fraying. Pig Skin leather suede watch bands. Handmade using one piece of skin that is lined to add thickness then folded and wrapped around lug then subtly stitched. Change to another colour easily with the quick release spring bars. If you where to cut the strap in half you would see the outer thin skin and the lining in between (i will add an image here soon of one cut in half – Rob shop manager) Pig skin is a more commonly used leather than you may think, mainly us as a lining for shoes etc. Not always easy to market. Ideal for watch straps although tricky to get right hence the price (beware of inferior straps that look similar to ours but are not). Every watch enthusiast should have one of these in their collection. You will love it. The sealed edge also helps prevent the suede becoming out of shape, common in other less superior suede straps. Quick release spring bars and 316L brushed stainless steel buckle finish this strap off perfectly. Top quality. Fully tested. Months of testing before being released for sale at our shop. Beware of similar but inferior straps being sold elsewhere. Tip: Strap keeper is very ‘grippy’ on the skin. You may find it beneficial to cut off the first ‘fixed’ excess strap keeper and then simply use the loose keeper to thread the excess strap through (hope that makes sense). Tip: this strap is very soft. The lug / spring bar may need a little patience to find position the first time you attach it. Make sure it is seated in spring bar hole by pulling on the strap lightly. Once you have worn it a few times the quick release spring bars will attach easier.
